They're a little messy, but here are some recent lecture notes on building the anatomy of the legs. The steps move from a simple skeleton description, to a basic visualization of pattern and shape, then finally to detailing out more specific muscle qualities and perspectives.

Lecture image

Skeletal studies
Always good to return to an architectural study of the skeleton periodically to see what else can be understood and synthesized into a more organic description or design.
